I've been looking all over the Internet for the music schedule for this weekend's Sam Phillips Music Celebration in Florence, AL. It is from 6 to 11 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 16, 2010, in downtown Florence. The headliner is rockabilly piano man Jason D. Williams.
Here's the lineup, according to a source at WQLT radio:
6 p.m. -- Sonny Burgess and the Pacers.
7 p.m. -- Adam Jones of The Levees and his band.
8 p.m. -- James LeBlanc, Dylan LeBlanc, Gary Nichols, and Angela Hacker performing as "The Heartbeat of Muscle Shoals Sound."
9 p.m. -- Theodis Ealey.
10 p.m. -- Jason D. Williams.
The last time I saw Jason D. Williams, I laughed so hard that my cheeks hurt for the first 15 minutes of his show. I don't know how someone can be so musically talented and so funny at the same time. Don't miss him.
